One of my favorite Christmas gifts each year is a box of Hand Warmers from my mother-in-law. We both suffer from the cold and she introduced me to your products. I don't know how I'd make it through the winter without them. To keep my hands free, I like to tuck a warmer in the back of the fold of my turtleneck. The fabric of the turtleneck provides enough insulation to prevent my neck from overheating and keeps the warmer completely surrounded to help maintain the temperature. It applies a gentle steady heat to my neck that helps keep my whole body warmer. —Cathy T., PA My elderly mother is plagued with trigeminal nerualgia (facial nerve pain). It is excruciating for her. She takes medication for it, but is it still painful. The only thing that seems to help her pain really subside are your "hand warmers." She holds one to her face and finds relief from shooting pains. Thanks! —Marion H., WA After nine year on the U.S. Alpine Ski Team and three knee surgeries, I have painful arthritic knees. I've discovered that slipping a Hand Warmer under my racesuit on my knees keeps them warm enough in cold weather to relieve much of my pain. In a matter of 10 months, I overcame a major surgery in order to compete in the 2006 Olympics--keeping my knees warm and more comfortable during my training and competitions helped make it possible. I can't believe the difference the warmers made! —Libby Ludlow I use the Hand Warmers over my ears during the descent of an aircraft for landing. This prevents any ear pain or pressure buildup. I couldn't fly without them! Amazing discovery. —Kate D., MN I open a pack of Hand Warmers and place them in my mailbox for my letter carrier. They are nice and hot by the time he arrives and he will be able to make it through the bitter temperatures for the rest of the day. —Michael W., NY I celebrated New Year's Eve with a solo cross-country ski trip to Jenny Lake in Jackson, Wyoming. I used the Foot Warmers in my boots and had warm feet for the entire 6 hours I was out in the Tetons. I use all your Warmer products; they keep the winter adventures enjoyable. When I know I can wrestle with the cold and still have warm feet, I keep going out to discover the treasures that can only be found when the world is crystal and ice. —Cathy S., WY I've taught horseback riding for the last 44 years. In the winter it's pretty brutal because I stand in the cold for hours. My first great discovery was Hand Warmers. Imagine my joy when you came out with Toe Warmers and Body Warmers. Now I don't go a day without them when it's cold. They have truly saved my life and I can actually enjoy working in the winter. —India B., DC My son Jamie is 15 and has ulcerative colitis among other disabilities. When his colitis acts up it includes terrible cramps and pain and I have found Grabber Warmers on his stomach are the only thing that gives him any relief. Thank you for such a great product! —Tracey B., CT Last weekend we went to some car races on the ice up in Siren, WI and I grabbed a pair of hand warmers out of the trunk. To my amazement the date on the package was Aug 31, 1993. I opened the package and put them in my mittens. They worked perfectly! I couldn't tell a difference between those and brand new ones. We were out for several hours and they stayed hot the whole time. Now that is testament to a great product! I've always buy your brand. Keep up the great work. We need more reasonably priced products that live up to their promises. Kudos! —Luanne P., WI I was recently on a 21 hour rescue in a very remote and rugged area. The victim had fallen and was badly injured, in shock and hypothermic. We built a fire, cut his wet clothes off and the very next item I used was the good old “Space Blanket”. I wrapped him in the space blanket as some other folks built a fire. We would periodically lift the space blanket up from the side of the patient the fire was on and allow the heat to reflect on him, then wrap him back up, sealing in that heat. If he had not been found when he was, he surely would have died soon. I have used your space blankets and have used others. Yours far out-performs the others; they simply last better and are more rugged. Being an EMT and search and rescue technician in a wilderness setting sometimes requires me to be with patients for hours. I MUST use dependable, durable items that work. I just wanted you to know that your products are being used to literally save lives! —Glenn W. |
